Capabilities

Custom healthcare software for regulated organisations.

We design and deliver secure systems for hospitals, providers and national health organisations, built by an ISO 27001 and 9001 certified, Australian onshore team.

Where governance
meets delivery

We’re at our best untangling legacy clinical systems, balancing privacy obligations, supporting multiple user groups, and introducing change without disrupting patient care.

Audited, onshore and built for regulated environments

We hold ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certification, audited by independent assessors, and our engineering team is based onshore in Australia. Systems are built on AWS Well-Architected infrastructure, aligned to Australian privacy regulation and APRA supervisory expectations.

Healthcare software delivery planning

Delivery built for legacy and regulated environments

Healthcare systems usually mean integrating with legacy platforms inside regulated data environments. We break delivery into phases with fixed technical milestones and clear escalation points, so problems get caught immediately, not at launch.

What healthcare organisations say about working with us

From redesigning workflows to fit how end-users actually work, here’s what it’s like partnering with our team on a healthcare build.

“At all stages, Airteam’s goal was to tease out exactly what we were looking for and how the workflow would be implemented on the ground. This led to a final design which was attractive, modern and accurately reflected how our product would be used by our end-users.”

Ruth Webster

The George Institute

“Our experience with Airteam has been extremely positive. The team is highly capable, experienced, professional and dedicated.”

Get in touch
What types of healthcare software do you build?

We design and build patient and member portals, mobile apps, booking systems, referral tools, research platforms and internal healthcare software. Our work spans public health, private healthcare, health insurance and medical research, from focused digital tools through to business-critical platforms.

Can you integrate with our existing systems?

Yes. We regularly build software that connects with existing platforms, APIs and third-party services. We map those systems and data flows early so technical constraints, ownership and dependencies are understood before development gets too far.

How much does custom healthcare software cost?

The investment depends on what you’re building, the systems it needs to connect to and the level of security, testing and governance involved. Once we understand those requirements, we’ll give you a clear view of the likely investment before you commit to a larger build. If your budget and the problem don’t line up, we’ll tell you early.

Can you work with our existing healthcare software?

Yes. We can extend or modernise an existing platform as well as build new software. We start by understanding the current architecture, technical debt and the workflows that depend on it before recommending what should change. Sometimes that’s a staged modernisation rather than a complete rebuild.

How do you manage healthcare security and compliance?

Airteam is ISO 27001 certified, with security controls built into how we design, develop and deliver software. We consider data handling, access, architecture and testing from the start, then work through the specific privacy, security and regulatory requirements that apply to your organisation and project.

What happens after I contact you?

We’ll start with a conversation about what you’re trying to change, what’s getting in the way and any known constraints around budget, timing, technology or governance. From there, we’ll recommend a sensible next step - whether that’s research, a technical review, a defined piece of work or a larger software project. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll tell you that too.
